To significantly improve LOCAL ACCESS to high-quality emergency medical care and comprehensive health care services through a new partnership in North County, the Tri-City Healthcare District Board of Directors took action on February 5, 2026 to call for an election this June.

The District’s proposed ballot measure, Measure H, seeks voter authorization for Tri-City Healthcare District and Sharp HealthCare to enter into a 30-year partnership and lease agreement, allowing Sharp to provide high-quality health care services at Tri-City Medical Center. Voter authorization is required for this partnership to take effect.

Measure H is NOT a tax and WON’T raise local taxes. It simply seeks voter authorization to allow Sharp to provide high-quality health care services at Tri-City Medical Center.

Registered voters within the Tri-City Healthcare District will determine the future when they cast their votes on Measure H. Election Day is June 2, 2026. A simple majority is required for passage. Learn more below.
